James studied chemical engineering in university, and then started a career in polymer materials. His specialisms include carbon fibre materials and processing. He has been engaged in bicycle R&D for 22 years, with his own bicycle production facility in China, James and his production team provide design and manufacturing services for many well-known brands, including Greenrock. Working with titanium and carbon fibre, he is able to keep up with market demand, and constantly introduces new concepts and structures, feeding the continual cycle of innovation of titanium alloy bicycles.
